Welcome to the James Apter Friendship Fund
The James Apter Friendship Fund was set up in 2012 in loving memory of a very special little boy. James Apter was born with Cystic Fibrosis and was sadly diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in April 2011. James fought hard for 5 months but tragically lost his battle on 8th September 2011, aged just 9 years old. Our chairty mission is to provide gifts and toys to children who receive medical treatments at local children’s hospitals. This helps to relieve anxiety and stress caused by being in hospital.
